Train Guard Vacancy

The Llanberis Lake Railway requires a Guard to undertake train guard duties as instructed in accordance with the railway’s timetable and in conjunction with the company rota.

The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends during the operating season. During non-operational periods, the successful candidate will provide general assistance with maintenance duties in the workshop and must have an understanding for basic engineering tasks. Ideally, candidates will have experience of working in a railway environment. A copy of the full job description is available on request. Full training will be given.

Hourly rate will be negotiable dependant on experience.
