Coaches can disembark their clients safely only 100 metres from our ticket office and there is a large free coach park in Padarn Park, with public toilets nearby.
If time allows prior to departure, your clients will enjoy browsing through our range of quality souvenirs in our railway themed shop packed with Welsh products.
Your clients may prefer to enjoy a visit to our café which serves an extensive range of quality snacks and meals throughout the day, where they can eat either inside the café or outside in our picnic area.
The journey along the length of Padarn Lake takes approximately 1 hour, which includes a 10 minute stopover at Cei Llydan which boasts fantastic views of Llanberis and the Snowdonia mountain range.
The railway operates special trips during November and early December to cater for the Turkey and Tinsel market. These operate on Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays and include a complimentary mince pie and glass of non-alcoholic "seasonal drink" in the ticket.
School groups can be accommodated throughout the year, from mid-February until early December, and the railway journey can be included in curriculum topics such as industrial history, transport, natural world, mountains and lakes, geology, engineering.
Towards the end of the Christmas term the railway operates dedicated trips for school groups to visit Santa in his grotto. As well as enjoying the train ride, every child gets to meet Santa and his elves, and receives a quality present. These trips can also be organised for playgroups and nurseries.
